PINK Week Kick-off EVENT

TRIBUTE WALK AND RECEPTION

The 1st MCC Pink Walk was a big success.  The Walk passed by the 200 Tribute Signs that were given in support, honor, and memory of those affected by cancer. 

 

128 walkers joined the Grand Marshalls, riding in decorated golf carts - Peggy and Ray Miraglia, Founders of Pink Week, David and Lynne Bangsund, Desert Cancer Foundation - Mark Scheibach, Executive Director, Debbie Pickett, President, Nicole Getzelman, Patient Assistant Coordinator and Sandra Lucas, survivor.

 

Stephanie Bailey and the Sports Center staff hosted the reception with food and beverage provided by Chef Nick and Ken Blidy.
